Two CAT versions were developed specifically for community pharmacists. Psychometric properties, including validity and reliability, were assessed. Construct validity of individual tool items was examined through confirmatory factor analysis, while reliability was measured using Cronbach’s alpha. Internal validity was further evaluated by piloting the tools with patients across eleven pharmacies located in Northern, Central, and Southern Italy. The study resulted in two adapted CAT versions: one focused on pharmacist-patient communication regarding adherence to prescribed therapy, and the other addressing consultations for minor disease management. These communication assessment tools can enhance the effective management of chronic conditions by promoting adherence and reducing negative health outcomes among patients. %U https://galaxypub.co/article/modification-of-a-communication-assessment-tool-for-community-pharmacists-in-supporting-medication-a-nprj1pbeacmgbi5
